After praying for victory, the team traveled to Miyazaki and attended a welcome ceremony at the airport. Flowers were presented by local kindergarten children, and specialty products were given by Director Oyama of the Miyazaki City Tourism and Commerce Department. In return, Shoji presented the children with a ball and Director Oyama with a pennant.


Manager Oiwa and player chairman Shoji received flowers.


The children were surprised by the autographed ball.


Ueda received the specialty products on behalf of the team.




Manager Oiwa greeted everyone, saying, "Thank you for the grand welcome. We had a frustrating year last year, so we've come to Miyazaki with the goal of winning all four titles this year. We'll be doing intensive training at KIRISHIMA Hibiscus Athletics Stadium for two weeks. Please come and give the players your cheers and constructive criticism. We'll also have a little time for interaction, so please come and watch the practice."

After a commemorative photo with the children, the welcome ceremony concluded.
