Traffic Information and Exit Routes for the Vissel Kobe Match (6/6)

We would like to inform you about transportation information for the Meiji Yasuda J1 Centennial League Playoff Round 2nd match against Vissel Kobe.


A large number of spectators are expected to attend this match. We anticipate that all transportation facilities will be crowded, so we ask those planning to attend to check transportation information and arrive early with plenty of time, aiming for at least two hours before kickoff (12:00).


Please refrain from trespassing on private property, and from illegal parking or stopping in surrounding commercial facilities or on the street. Also, please use crosswalks as crossing roads haphazardly in the surrounding area is very dangerous.


The surrounding roads are also used by local residents for their daily lives.

■ Express Bus

Tokyo Station ~ Kashima Area

You can board without a reservation, but heavy congestion is expected, so we recommend using it early. In particular, buses departing approximately 4 to 5 hours before kickoff (around 9:00 to 10:00) are expected to be crowded.


In principle, all express buses bound for Kashima Jingu Station that depart from Tokyo Station between 6 hours before kickoff (8:00) and 2 hours before kickoff (12:00) will be extended to Mercari Stadium.
For this match, extensions are scheduled to begin with the first bus from Tokyo Station (departing at 6:30).

There are also reserved direct buses departing from various stations, so please consider using them as well.

On match day, Kashima Rinkai Railway will make temporary stops at Kashima Soccer Stadium Station. Please note that IC cards cannot be used for destinations towards Mito.

The roads to Itako IC and the stadium are expected to be extremely congested from approximately 3 hours before the match starts. Also, after the match ends, it may take more than an hour to exit from parking lots around the stadium. To alleviate traffic congestion, we ask for your cooperation in using public transportation or carpooling to come to the stadium.

Motorcycles/Bicycles

Bicycle parking is available in the yellow area shown on the map below. Parking in other areas is prohibited.
Also, please refrain from entering from intersections or crosswalks as it is very dangerous. When on sidewalks, please dismount from your vehicle and push it.



Pedestrian Exit Route

A large number of people are expected to attend this match, so Gate 5 and the area near the intersection in front of the stadium are expected to be extremely crowded, especially after the match ends. Traffic control may be implemented, so please follow the instructions of staff.

Crossing surrounding roads haphazardly is extremely dangerous, so please refrain from doing so and use crosswalks. Also, please refrain from trespassing on private property.
