How to get home from the stadium

Stadium surroundings and public transportation will be extremely congested after the match. To ensure a smooth and safe journey home, please note and cooperate with the following:

For those using public transportation

Highway Buses (e.g., bound for Tokyo Station)

After the match, buses will depart sequentially from the boarding area. Please be aware that there is a limited number of buses for the return trip.
The final bus is scheduled to depart approximately 30 minutes after the end of the match (or ceremony, etc.). Please be careful not to miss it.

Reservation-only direct bus (from Tokyo, Katsuta, Mito, Tsukuba, and Tsuchiura Stations, etc.)

Please check the departure time of your reserved bus and arrive at the designated boarding area early to avoid missing your bus.

After the game, Gate 5 and the intersection in front of the stadium will be very crowded. There may be crowd control measures in place, so please follow the instructions of staff. To ensure safety and alleviate congestion, we ask for your cooperation in exiting through Gates 3, 4, and 6.

Train (Kashima Soccer Stadium Station on the Kashima Rinkai Railway)

On match days, Kashima Rinkai Railway trains will make special stops at Kashima Soccer Stadium Station. Please note that IC cards cannot be used for travel towards Mito.

For those arriving by car

Roads to Itako Interchange and the stadium are expected to be extremely congested starting approximately three hours before kickoff.

 

Additionally, after the match, exiting parking lots around the stadium may take over an hour.

To alleviate traffic congestion, please cooperate by using public transportation or carpooling when coming to the stadium.


Please refrain from trespassing on private property, and from unauthorized parking or stopping at nearby commercial facilities or on the street.
The surrounding roads are also used by local residents for their daily lives.
We ask for your cooperation in observing traffic manners and being considerate of local residents.

For those using motorcycles or bicycles

Bicycle parking is available in the yellow areas on the map below. Parking in other areas is prohibited.
Additionally, riding your bicycle across intersections and crosswalks is extremely dangerous, so please refrain from doing so. When on sidewalks, please dismount your vehicle and walk it.

To those leaving on foot (Request for staggered departure)

The "Gate 5" area and the intersection in front of the stadium will be extremely crowded after the match. Crowd control measures may be implemented, so please follow the instructions of event staff. To ensure safety and alleviate congestion, we kindly request your cooperation in dispersing your exit through "Gates 3, 4, and 6."

 

Crossing roads unsafely is extremely dangerous. Please always use pedestrian crossings and refrain from entering private property.

The surrounding roads are also used by local residents in their daily lives, so please be considerate and observe traffic etiquette.
