Traffic information and exit routes for the FC Tokyo match (May 23)

We would like to inform you about transportation information for the Meiji Yasuda J1 Hundred Year Vision League Regional League Round EAST Matchday 18 against FC Tokyo.


A large number of spectators are expected to attend this match. As public transportation is also expected to be crowded, we ask that those planning to attend check the transportation information and arrive early, well in advance, aiming for before 15:30 (two hours before kickoff).


Please refrain from trespassing on private property, unauthorized parking, or stopping on surrounding commercial facilities or roads. Also, forced crossing of surrounding roads is extremely dangerous, so please use pedestrian crossings.


The surrounding roads are also daily routes for local residents.
We ask for your adherence to traffic rules and consideration and cooperation with local residents.

■ Express bus

Tokyo Station ~ Kashima Area

You can board without a reservation, but heavy congestion is expected, so we recommend arriving early. In particular, buses departing approximately 4 to 5 hours before the first half kickoff (around 12:30 to 13:30) are expected to be crowded.


As a general rule, all express buses bound for Kashima Jingu Station departing from Tokyo Station between 6 hours (11:30) and 2 hours (15:30) before the first half kickoff will be extended to Mercari Stadium.

*After the match, buses will depart in sequence. The final departure is scheduled for approximately 30 minutes after the match ends, so please be careful not to miss it.

Buses operate approximately every 30 minutes from 10:10 until before the first half kickoff.

Train

On the day of the match, Kashima Rinkai Railway will make temporary stops at Kashima Soccer Stadium Station. Please note that IC cards for public transport cannot be used for the Mito direction.

Car

Roads from Itako IC to the stadium are expected to be extremely congested approximately 3 hours before the match starts. Also, after the match, it may take over an hour to exit from parking lots around the stadium. To alleviate traffic congestion, we ask for your cooperation in using public transportation or carpooling to get to the stadium.

Motorcycles and Bicycles

Bicycle parking is available in the yellow area on the map below. Parking in other areas is prohibited.
Also, it is very dangerous to enter from intersections or pedestrian crossings, so please refrain from doing so. On sidewalks, please always dismount from your vehicle and walk while pushing it.



Pedestrian Exit Flow

Due to the large number of attendees expected for this match, Gates 5 and the intersection in front of the stadium are expected to be extremely congested, especially after the match. Traffic control may be implemented, so please follow the guidance of staff.

Crossing surrounding roads dangerously is extremely hazardous; please refrain and use pedestrian crossings. Also, please do not trespass on private property.
