Traffic information and exit routes for the Machida match (5/3)

We would like to inform you about transportation information for the 2025 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 14 against FC Machida Zelvia, which will be held on Saturday, May 3 (holiday).

A large number of spectators are expected to attend this match. As congestion is also anticipated for all public transportation, we ask those planning to attend to check the transportation information and arrive early, allowing plenty of time, with a guideline of arriving by 13:00 (two hours before the first half kickoff).
Please refrain from unauthorized parking or stopping in nearby commercial facilities or on the streets, and from crossing surrounding roads unsafely. We ask for your consideration and cooperation regarding traffic manners.

■Express Bus
Tokyo Station - Kashima Area
Although you can board without a reservation, heavy congestion is expected, so we recommend using the service as early as possible. In particular, congestion is anticipated approximately 4-5 hours before kickoff (around 10:00-11:00).

Please note that all express buses bound for Kashima Jingu Station departing from Tokyo Station between 6 hours before kickoff (9:00) and 2 hours before kickoff (13:00) will be extended to Kashima Soccer Stadium.

In addition, there are reservation-only direct buses departing from and arriving at various stations, so please consider using these as well.

Please be aware that the number of buses for the return journey is limited.

Please note that after the match, buses will depart sequentially. The final departure is scheduled for approximately 30 minutes after the end of the match, so please do not miss your bus.

Buses operate at approximately 30-minute intervals from 8:45 until before the first half kickoff.

Train

On match day, the Kashima Rinkai Railway will make temporary stops at Kashima Soccer Stadium Station. Please note that IC cards for public transportation cannot be used for destinations in the Mito area.

Car

Roads from Itako IC to the stadium are expected to be extremely congested from approximately 3 hours before the match. Also, after the match, it may take over an hour to exit parking lots around the stadium. To alleviate traffic congestion, we kindly ask for your cooperation in using public transportation or carpooling to the stadium.
Please refrain from unauthorized parking in nearby commercial facilities or on the streets. We ask for your consideration and cooperation regarding traffic manners.

Motorcycles and Bicycles

Bicycle parking is available in the yellow area shown on the map below. Parking in other areas is prohibited.

Also, entering from intersections or pedestrian crossings is very dangerous, so please refrain from doing so. On sidewalks, please dismount from your vehicle and walk it.

About the Exit Flow from Gate 5

Due to the large number of visitors expected for this match, Gate 5 and the intersection in front of the stadium are expected to be very congested after the match. Traffic control may be implemented, so please follow the instructions of staff.

We also ask for your cooperation in dispersing your exit to Gates 3, 4, and 6.
