The 2016 K LEAGUE U17 Championship is a tournament held in Pohang, South Korea. From Japan, JEF United Chiba and Kitakyushu's youth teams are participating in the same category.
The tournament runs from July 22nd to August 4th. In the group stage, four teams play in a league format, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout stage.
On July 21st, we flew from Narita Airport to South Korea.
After arriving in Korea, we traveled by bus to Pohang, where the tournament was held, which took about 1 hour and 40 minutes. The flight was delayed somewhat, so we arrived at the hotel late.
After arriving at the hotel, we trained at the match venue. The training included a 12-minute run, free passes, and an 8-on-8 plus one free man game-style practice on a half-pitch, in preparation for the match.
After training, we returned to the hotel for dinner and a meeting.
