Coach Masumo
"We only had a short time to prepare, but we discussed how to approach the first match to play well. However, against opponents who were accustomed to the rules, we were too tense and couldn't play our best. We conceded a goal from a mistake in the second half, which made it difficult, but we managed to equalize. In the second match, we knew we had to win to advance from the group stage, and we got off to a great start and scored. We were also able to correct some of the issues from the first match. The third match was the final game for the entire group. We fought to win against FC Seoul. In the first half, Maeda's shot hit the post and didn't result in a goal, and then we conceded in the second half and lost. Although we are second in the group with 4 points, we have advanced to the knockout stage. Tomorrow, we will play strong teams that have advanced from other groups. We want to prepare well based on today's experience and fight to go as far as possible."

As a result, in Group C, FC Seoul finished with 9 points, Kashima Antlers with 4 points, HKFC Captain's Select with 4 points, and Thai Youth Football Home with 0 points. Kashima Antlers advanced to the knockout stage in second place based on goal difference.
