The cherry trees planted in 2003 to commemorate the World Cup have grown splendidly. The cherry trees around the stadium, approximately 1,000 in number, were planted as part of the "Football & World Cup Commemorative Cherry Blossom Hometown Creation Project" in Kashima City, specifically the "Thousand Cherry Trees Planting Project," within the stadium grounds and at Bokuden no Sato Athletic Park.
How about enjoying cherry blossoms with the magnificent stadium as a backdrop? Stalls will be open on weekends during the period, so please stop by.
