Kashima Stadium Sakura Festival 2017 Announcement

The cherry trees planted in 2003 to commemorate the World Cup have grown splendidly. The cherry trees around the stadium were planted as part of Kashima City's "Soccer World Cup Commemorative Cherry Tree Hometown Project," a thousand-cherry-tree planting initiative, with approximately 1,000 trees planted around the stadium and within the Bokuden no Sato Sports Park.
Why not enjoy cherry blossom viewing with the magnificent stadium as a backdrop? Stalls will be set up on weekends during the period, so please stop by.
