2nd Antlers Business Club Joint Company Information Session

On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the "2nd ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB Joint Company Information Session" was held at the Kashima City Kashima Sports Center.

This information session, part of the philosophy sponsorship activities (*) undertaken with member companies of the ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB, targeted high school students in the area surrounding Hokko region and was held for the second consecutive year. Last time, due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, only two schools participated, but this time approximately 80 local job-seeking students from seven schools participated. 14 Business Club member companies also attended, each providing distinctive explanations of their businesses.

First, Fumiyuki Okamoto, Regional Collaboration Officer of the Regional Community Collaboration Group, gave the opening remarks, and the event began.

In the first part, following the opening remarks, Okamoto took the stage and gave a lecture to high school students on the significance of working locally and the meaning of life. Finally, he sent a message: "If you get a job locally, please cherish the irreplaceable time you spend with your family and friends!"

In the second part, at each booth of the participating companies, recruitment managers and employees provided company explanations for their respective companies.

At each company's booth, company information materials were introduced, and each company exhibited creative booths, such as demonstrations of their own technology and distribution of their own product novelties.

Based on requests from participants last time, this information session was held for approximately three hours. The students actively participated, listening to explanations, watching demonstrations intently, and asking questions at company booths they were interested in.

The ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB will continue to conduct activities aimed at regional and social contribution.

(*) What are philosophy sponsorship activities?
The ANTLERS BUSINESS CLUB will allocate a portion of membership fees as "philosophy sponsorship funds" to activities aimed at regional and social contribution.
