On Saturday, February 4th, after the 2017 J-League DAZN New Year Cup match against Yokohama FC, we received a visit from the hometown council, sponsors, and LIXIL Kyushu branch for words of encouragement. Player representative Shoji, acting as chairman, greeted the hometown council and sponsors. They generously provided many refreshments, which were enjoyed in the dining hall and relaxation room.
The LIXIL Kyushu branch gave their customary cheer. From the team, Umabachi, returning from a loan spell, gave a cheer for the first time in two years, and rookie Oda gave his first cheer. However, due to their impromptu pairing, their timing was completely off, and even the other players chuckled.
