March 14: Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Presents Match Day Festival Powered by Nissin Foods

On Saturday, March 14, before the 2015 home opener against Shonan Bellmare, the Shin-Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Presents Match Day Festival powered by Nissin Foods was held at Bōden-no-Sato Sports Park. The Match Day Festival is a 5-a-side mini-soccer tournament for children who can attend J.League matches. Participating children received Nissin Chicken Ramen. In addition, the winning team received a certificate autographed by Antlers players.

Tournament Rules
・5-a-side (may change depending on the number of registered players)
*For the 1st/2nd grade division and 6th grade/7th grade division this time, a handicap was given allowing one extra player from the lower grade to play.
・Kick-in method
・No direct goals from kick-off or kick-in
・Goalkeeper throws the ball after catching it
・Unlimited substitutions

A large number of teams participated on the day, which was the J.League home opener, and serious matches for the championship were played.

Teams from Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, and Shonan Bellmare's school team, who were the opponents for the J.League home opener, also participated this time.
