Survey on the Effectiveness of Infection Control Measures at Kashima Stadium

We would like to announce that we will be conducting a survey to confirm the effectiveness of infection control measures at Kashima Stadium during J.League home games, in collaboration with the J.League and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), with whom we have had a comprehensive partnership agreement since 2017.

The purpose of this demonstration survey is to utilize the analysis results for infection control measures at various sports events, and the results will be provided to the national government, local governments, related organizations, and other sports organizations.

*The above survey may be subject to change due to weather conditions, etc.
*In addition to the above matches, real-time CO2 meters will be permanently installed and measurements will be taken at Kashima Stadium.

■Demonstration Survey Details
・Measurement of carbon dioxide concentration and real-time display for ventilation and congestion reduction
・Understanding the mask-wearing rate of spectators using cameras
・Evaluation of the applicability of voice analysis technology to spectator voices
・Publicizing and analyzing the effectiveness of various infection control measures (mask-wearing, hand sanitization, staggered exit, etc.)
・Evaluation through questionnaires

*The content of the initiatives may be added or changed in the future.
*Camera images taken of the spectator seats will be acquired at a resolution that does not allow for individual identification, and no individuals will be identified. Acoustic sensors will be used to measure ambient noise, not individual voices, and no voice recognition or conversation recording of individual voices will be performed. Furthermore, this data will not be used for any purpose other than this research.
*Infection control measures for spectators will continue to follow the guidelines previously set by the J.League.
