Kashiwa Match (July 20) Traffic Information and Exit Routes

Here is information regarding transportation for the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Section 24 match against Kashiwa Reysol on Sunday, July 20th.

A large number of spectators are expected to attend this match. As various transportation methods are also expected to be crowded, please check the transportation information and plan to arrive early with plenty of time, aiming for before 2 hours prior to the first half kickoff (16:00).
Please refrain from unauthorized parking or stopping in surrounding commercial facilities or on the streets. Also, crossing surrounding roads unsafely is very dangerous, so please use pedestrian crossings.
We ask for your consideration and cooperation regarding traffic manners.

Bus

■Reservation-only Direct Bus
We operate reservation-only direct buses from various areas.

Direct Bus (Reservation Required) Tokyo Station ⇔ Mercari Stadium

Direct Bus (Reservation Required) Tsukuba Station / Tsuchiura Station ⇔ Mercari Stadium

■Highway Bus
Tokyo Station - Kashima Area
You can board without a reservation, but heavy congestion is expected, so we recommend using it early. In particular, buses departing around 4-5 hours before the first half kickoff (around 13:00-14:00) are expected to be crowded.

All highway buses bound for Kashima Jingu Station departing from Tokyo Station between 7 hours before kickoff (11:00) and 2 hours before kickoff (16:00) will be extended to Mercari Stadium. ※Updated 7/18

Additionally, there are reservation-only direct buses departing from and arriving at each station, so please use these as well.

※After the match ends, buses will depart sequentially. The final departure is scheduled for approximately 30 minutes after the match ends, so please be careful not to miss your bus.

Operates at approximately 30-minute intervals from 12:00 until before the first half kickoff.

Train

On match day, Kashima Rinkai Railway will make temporary stops at Kashima Soccer Stadium Station. Please note that IC cards for transportation cannot be used for destinations in the Mito area.

Car

Roads from Itako IC and to the stadium are expected to be very congested from approximately 3 hours before the match starts. After the match ends, it may take over an hour to exit the parking lots around the stadium. To alleviate traffic congestion, we ask for your cooperation in using public transportation or carpooling to the stadium.
Please refrain from unauthorized parking or stopping in surrounding commercial facilities or on the streets. We ask for your consideration and cooperation regarding traffic manners.

Motorcycle / Bicycle

Bicycle parking is available in the yellow area shown on the map below. Parking in other areas is prohibited.

Also, entering from intersections or pedestrian crossings is very dangerous, so please refrain from doing so. On sidewalks, always dismount from your vehicle and push it.

Regarding Exit Route from Gate 5

Due to the large number of attendees expected for this match, Gate 5 and the intersection in front of the stadium are expected to be extremely crowded, especially after the match. We may implement traffic control and guidance, so please follow the instructions of staff.

Also, we ask for your cooperation in dispersing your exit to Gates 3, 4, and 6.
