Academy Report

Guangzhou, China Expedition (April 11)

It was chilly this morning, and the temperature dropped enough to require a jacket. Until yesterday, it was hot enough to wear shorts and short sleeves, so the temperature difference has been drastic.

After waking up and having breakfast, we went for a walk and did some exercises. After that, the players had free time until training.

The staff had a meeting, where they checked the uniforms for tomorrow's match and received an explanation of the regulations (90-minute games with immediate penalties from the knockout stage).

In the afternoon, the team was divided into recovery and training groups. The recovery group used the school's facilities to relieve fatigue with alternating baths and in-water exercises.

The training group moved to the artificial turf stadium directly in front of the hotel. Based on a request from a coach of Guangzhou Evergrande Football School U-15, who has been supporting Antlers during the tournament, three players joined the training session.

The training started with running, followed by pass and control drills, ball possession, one-on-one play (4 vs 4 in front of the goal), and shooting practice.
