1st ASIA Junior Cup Tournament

The 1st ASIA Junior Cup Tournament was held on Saturday, March 30, at the Yokotedai Ground in Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture.

Eight kindergarteners from Kashima School participated in this tournament.

It was a two-and-a-half-hour journey to the ground, and with a "meet at venue, dismiss at venue" arrangement, it placed a significant burden on the guardians. However, everyone arrived safely and was able to play in the first match.

This was a one-day tournament featuring 16 teams, primarily from Saitama Prefecture, competing for the championship.

This was Kashima team's first external match, but they played freely on the pitch as they usually do at school, showing no signs of nervousness.

Guardians and players united, cheering together, and scored many goals from the first match, winning 6-0!

However, after that, they had one draw and one loss, placing third in the group league and advancing to the 3rd place league.

During the lunch break between matches, everyone ate together and geared up to do their best in the afternoon! Just when we thought they might rest, as soon as they finished eating, the energetic players immediately gathered around the ball and started playing soccer.

These tireless children, with their boundless energy, wonderfully won the 3rd place league and received a certificate of achievement!

Despite the challenges of being a "meet at venue, dismiss at venue" event for their first tournament, the ASIA Junior Cup concluded successfully, and with a certificate of achievement in hand, it was a great tournament for the children.
