South Korea expedition (Aug. 15)

Today, we were worried about the weather due to the typhoon, but its path shifted, so Jeju Island was unaffected. The weather was very good from the morning.

Today was a rest day for the tournament, so there were no games. After waking up, I started the day as usual with a walk and calisthenics.

Breakfast was a delicious buffet.

In the morning, we trained at a facility with two artificial turf fields, located about 2-3 minutes by bus from the hotel.

The facility was a park with about 10 basketball courts and indoor gateball courts, which elderly people were enjoying. There was also a stream flowing through it, and I saw people swimming.

Training started at 9 AM. Players who had played for a long time in yesterday's game had a light adjustment session, while other players underwent hard training for about an hour. We practiced 3-on-3 plus two free men possession drills and game-like scenarios.

As our training finished, the C-Osaka players arrived at the ground and immediately began their training. Before us, a group of referees had been training.

After practice, we returned to the hotel for lunch.

In the afternoon, we went to watch a K-League match between Jeju and Daegu. Jeju World Cup Stadium is a magnificent stadium. Before watching the match, the players shopped at the mall adjacent to the stadium.

Despite it being a K-League match, there were very few spectators, and we arrived at the venue smoothly with no traffic jams. Most of the invited teams attended the match.

Shortly before the end of the match, we left the stadium and returned to the hotel for a brief meeting.

Tomorrow, we will have a match against the local club, Jeju United U-15. Kick-off is at 5 PM, but we plan to get a little exercise in the morning before the game.
