Academy Report

On the third day of our expedition, we awoke to another cloudy morning. Similar to yesterday, the temperature wasn't particularly high, but it was muggy.

Although it was the first day of the tournament, we didn't have a game scheduled according to the pairings. After waking up, we found a park about a 3-minute walk away, where everyone did calisthenics and stretching before having breakfast.In the morning, we watched the first day of tournament matches. We headed to watch the Busan vs. Celta match, which kicked off at 10 AM. The match venue was about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

It rained heavily during the match, but the pitch conditions remained good.

Celta dominated possession and attacked, but couldn't find the net, while Busan scored first with a counterattack. Busan led at halftime after capitalizing on their single chance.



In the second half, Celta continued to dominate possession, but conceded a goal from a counterattack, finding themselves two goals down. Although they scored one goal back at the end, Busan won 2-1.

After watching the match, we returned to the hotel for lunch and prepared for the afternoon.After lunch, we had a training match against Shonan Bellmare JY.Although we were supposed to use the natural grass pitch, which is the venue for this tournament, it suddenly became unavailable, so we played on the artificial turf next to it.

Everyone was given a chance to play in this adjustment game in preparation for tomorrow's match.

In the match, we conceded a goal in the 2nd minute of the second half from the left wing, but in the 18th minute of the second half, Ishido scored a decisive equalizer from a short counterattack with a through pass from Saka. In the 4th minute of added time, Ebisawa delivered a right corner kick to the far side, and Fukuhara scored with a header, securing a 2-1 victory.After the match, everyone watched the other group match.

Bremen won against Jeju 9-1.


While the first half was somewhat evenly matched, the second half showed a clear difference in skill and concentration, resulting in a large score difference. As a result, tomorrow's match became a must-win.

We returned to the hotel, had dinner, and held a meeting starting at 8:40 PM. Everyone shared their objectives and goals, both as a team and as individuals, for this tournament.
