Italian Expedition (April 22)

The fourth day of our Italian expedition began with a morning walk and exercise, as usual.

After the walk and exercise, we had breakfast and then held a morning practice for about 40 minutes at the venue where we played yesterday's practice match.

After the morning practice, we returned to the hotel for lunch and then held a meeting for our second qualifying league match against Galatasaray.

The pitch condition at the match venue looked good visually, but it was quite uneven under the grass. Also, we played with the wind in the first half and against it in the second half.

Starting lineup: GK: Takahashi, DF: Ishido, Moriyama, Iwama, Kobayashi, MF: Fukuhara, Ito, Nakayama, Koide, Yamaguchi, FW: Kado.
We started with a 4-1-4-1 formation.
Our opponent consistently connected their passes despite the poor pitch condition. We tried to mark them clearly and respond, but our marking was poor, and we were quickly called for fouls when defending from behind with our hands. The number of fouls increased, and we conceded a goal in the first half from a scramble after a free kick.

Second half lineup: GK: Numata, DF: Miyauchi, Moriyama, Fukuhara, Yamaguchi, MF: Fuchigami, Komura, Ito, Gocho, FW: Higuchi, Nakayama.
Although we changed our system to 4-4-2 to score, we ultimately couldn't find the net. Many issues remained, such as basic stopping and kicking, decision-making on a poor pitch, and prioritizing plays.

Match results on Day 2:
Qualifying League vs Galatasaray (Turkey) First half 0-1, Second half 0-0, Total 0-1.

With this result, we finished the qualifying league with one win and one loss, advancing to the final tournament as the second-place team. Our opponent in the final tournament has been decided as Red Bull Salzburg (Austria), the first-place team in Group E.

The regulations for this tournament include special rules, such as the requirement for all registered substitute players to enter the game at the start of the second half.
Also, there is one main referee, and the assistant referees merely raise a flag if the ball crosses the line; all offside calls are at the discretion of the main referee.
