As with regular practices, we started with a game of tag for warm-ups, but this time it was a parent-child hand-holding tag. After that, parents and children competed in ball-handling drills.

In this game, the adults showed off their skills, dribbling past the children and scoring powerful shots, truly living up to their "Dad!" and "Mom!" titles. The children were clearly frustrated by the adults' power, and their expressions showed their regret.

"Thank you for participating in the parent-child soccer event. By playing a serious game with the children, I believe they felt a different kind of power from their parents than usual. The children's words and expressions showed their joy at winning against a stronger opponent and their frustration at losing. These feelings are very important. And challenging yourselves is the key to improving in soccer. I hope you will take the time to play serious games with your children and challenge yourselves in many things together."
Coach Furukawa
"Thank you very much to all the families who participated this time. We had two goals for holding this parent-child soccer event. The first was for parents and families to experience what their children usually do. The second was to create an opportunity for families to play soccer together. While playing soccer with their parents, and after they finished, the children's expressions were different from usual, and they seemed proud. When I saw these expressions, I felt that we had achieved both of our goals. I'm sure the children are just happy to be able to play soccer with their families. This time, the event was only for the kindergarten course, but in the future, we would like to create such an environment for all school students."
