Coach Kotani's comment: "As in previous matches, our movement was poor from the start, and we conceded the first goal. After giving up two goals, we scored, but then quickly conceded another. We scored in the second half to make it 1-3, and just when we thought we could make a comeback, we conceded again, losing control of the game and continuing to struggle. Nevertheless, we played offensively and managed to score a third goal from a penalty. We had several more chances after that, but couldn't score. The opposing team showed a knack for managing the game, particularly how they used their time after taking the lead, which is something you don't often see in Japanese teams."

Kashima Junior currently has 3 points in their group, placing them 4th out of 6 teams. In this tournament, the top two teams from each group, and the 8 best-performing third-place teams out of 12, will advance to the upper league. Tomorrow, for the first time in this tournament, there will be two matches in one day.
