Kashima Area: Event Report, February 2026

In February 2026, we held events in the Kashima area for each age group from elementary school first graders to sixth graders.

We held a variety of events, including the Kashima Junior Youth Manager/Coach Skill-Up School and the 1vs1 Ultimate Champion Deciding Match, and many players participated!

Please see below for event details and how it went on the day.

[February 11 (Wednesday, holiday) Kashima Junior Youth Manager/Coach Skill-Up School]

We held the "Kashima Antlers Junior Youth Manager/Coach Skill-Up School" for elementary school 3rd to 6th graders at the Kashima Antlers Academy Field.

On the day, the event was held in two parts: "Shooting" and "Goalkeeping," and "Dribbling" and "Defense."

Unfortunately, it rained on the day, but many highly motivated players who wanted to improve even in the rain participated!

Receiving direct instruction from coaches who have won national championships and former J-League players was a great source of inspiration for the players!
Among them, Coach Sugimoto's demonstration of a "volley shot" was nothing short of spectacular.

We hope that the participating players will grow further from this event and that more players will aim for Kashima Antlers Junior Youth!

The Kashima Antlers Junior Youth's 2026 league season also started in March!
Please continue to support Kashima Antlers Junior Youth!

[February 15 (Sunday) 1vs1 Ultimate Champion Deciding Match Championship in Kashima]

We held the "1vs1 Ultimate Champion Deciding Match Championship in Kashima" for elementary school 1st to 4th graders at the Kashima Antlers Clubhouse Futsal Court.

The 1vs1 Ultimate Champion Deciding Match Championship is a tournament where only players who won or came in second place in the monthly 1vs1 Ultimate Champion Deciding Matches held since April 2025, or who were recommended by coaches, can participate.

This tournament saw participation from the Kashima, Tsukuba, and Norte areas, making it a high-level championship worthy of its name!

The honorable winners were "Jounoshin Okajima" in the 1st grade division, "Rihito Ishige" in the 2nd grade division, and "Aoto Miyauchi" in the 3rd and 4th grade division.

The true champions were presented with a player-signed uniform and a champion's trophy.

The 2026 tournament will start in April.
Please aim for the championship and take on the challenge!!

[February 15 (Sunday) Kashima Junior Manager/Coach Skill-Up School]
We held the "Kashima Junior Skill-Up School" for elementary school 3rd to 6th graders at the Kashima Antlers Clubhouse Futsal Court.

Training on "dribbling," "passing," and "defense" was conducted by a team of experienced managers and coaches, including Manager Kotani, who previously led Kashima Junior to a national championship in the National Youth Soccer Tournament.

The players received detailed instruction on techniques and footwork from each coach, acquiring a variety of skills.

Although it was a short time, it was a very productive period, and many players showed significant improvement during the training!

Kashima Antlers School will continue to host various events in the future, so please join us!!
