Notice of "JFA 49th All Japan U-12 Football Championship" Schedule Decision

We would like to inform you that the tournament outline and match schedule for the "JFA 49th All Japan U-12 Football Championship," in which Tsukuba Junior will participate, have been decided.

We appreciate your support for Tsukuba Junior, who won the Ibaraki Prefectural Qualifiers and will compete on the national stage!

Tournament Schedule

First Round (Group B)
・December 26th (Fri) Match 1 Kick-off 9:30 AM vs. Afferalce Yokkaichi (Fureai Sports Land Pitch 3)
・December 26th (Fri) Match 2 Kick-off 1:15 PM vs. Aslan FC (Fureai Sports Land Pitch 5)
・December 27th (Sat) Match 3 Kick-off 9:30 AM vs. Zweigen Kanazawa (Fureai Sports Land Pitch 1)

Final Round
・December 27th (Sat) Round of 16 (Kagoshima Fureai Sports Land, Kagoshima Prefectural Soccer and Rugby Field)
・December 28th (Sun) Quarterfinals (Kagoshima Prefectural Kamoike Auxiliary Stadium)
・December 28th (Sun) Semifinals (Shirobama Stadium)
・December 29th (Mon) Final (Shirobama Stadium)

Tournament Outline

Tournament Format
(1) First Round: The 48 participating teams will be divided into 12 groups of 4 teams each, and a league match will be held.
Teams from the same prefecture, which are participating due to the previous year's champion slot, will not be in the same group.

(2) The ranking method for the first round will be determined by points, with 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. Teams will be ranked in order of higher points. If the total points are the same, the ranking will be determined according to the following criteria:
① Goal difference in all matches (total goals - total goals conceded)
② Total goals scored in all matches
③ Head-to-head record between the teams concerned (wins/losses)
④ If all items ① to ③ are the same, the ranking will be determined by drawing lots.

(3) Furthermore, among the second-placed teams in each group of the first round, the 4 teams advancing to the final round will be determined in the following order:
① Total points within the group
② Goal difference within the group
③ Total goals scored within the group
④ If all items ① to ③ are the same, the ranking will be determined by drawing lots.

(4) Final Round: The 1st placed teams from each group of the first round and the top 4 of the 2nd placed teams from each group, making a total of 16 teams, will compete in a knockout format to determine the champion down to the 3rd place. (No 3rd place match will be held).
Teams from the same group in the first round will not play each other in the Round of 16.

Match Format
① Match duration is 40 minutes (20 minutes for each half).
Half-time interval (from end of first half to start of second half): Generally 10 minutes.
② If a winner is not determined within the regulation match time:
First Round: Considered a draw.
Round of 16 and Quarterfinals: Winner determined by penalty shootout.
Semifinals and Final: 10 minutes of extra time (5 minutes for each half) will be played. If still tied, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.
Interval before extra time: Generally 5 minutes.
Interval before penalty shootout: Generally 1 minute.

One team from each prefecture (total 47 teams) and one team as the previous year's champion slot (the 48th champion was Tokyo), making a total of 48 teams.
