Green Planet cutlery adopted at stadium food and beverage stalls!
At Mercari Stadium, we use cutlery (straws, spoons, forks) made from Kaneka Biodegradable Polymer Green Planet® (*), an environmentally friendly material, at our food and beverage stands.
What is Kaneka Biodegradable Biopolymer Green Planet®? It is a 100% plant-derived biodegradable biopolymer developed by Kaneka. It has excellent biodegradability in a wide range of environments and contributes to reducing marine pollution. It is biodegraded by many microorganisms in nature and ultimately becomes carbon dioxide and water. It achieves biodegradation not only in soil but also in seawater, which has been difficult until now. It is increasingly being adopted for applications such as shopping bags and cutlery.
