This time, I'll introduce "Antlers Skincare" located in Kamishinko-ji, Kashima City. They particularly emphasize vitamin supplementation for the skin, so let's check it out!
First, head to Kashima Soccer Stadium. From the entrance along National Route 51, go to the parking lot under the eaves.
The reception counter is in the same location as the adjacent Kashima Wellness Plaza (fitness gym), Kashima Soccer Museum, etc. If you tell them you're there for "skincare," they will call a therapist for you.
You'll walk past the gym's studio and machine room to reach the treatment room. First-timers might think, "It's in a place like this!?"
The interior looks like this. You can receive treatment in a private room, and soothing background music plays. You won't hear any gym noise, so feel free to relax completely.
It starts with a consultation. Let them check your skin condition for the optimal treatment. According to the therapist, my skin doesn't seem to be very rough, but there are visible open pores. That's likely mask damage...
As a result, I'll be receiving two treatments this time. "Cool Vitamin," recommended for first-timers, plus "Polishing" for pore cleansing. Please check their official website for prices and other menu options.

Here are some of the items that will be used. From the left: Vitamin Gel (dye-free!), Claytech Mask, Aqua Oil (clear), and a face roller. I'll explain the details for each step.
Now, let's start the treatment. It begins with "Polishing." This is a deep cleansing that is different from their regular menu! Aqua oil dissolves dirt from the skin's surface and clogged pores. An eye for an eye, oil for oil!
The photo below shows the Claytech Mask being applied. It features spherical, porous particles that absorb dirt without damaging the skin. It also has a mild scrubbing effect, improving skin roughness.
Antlers Skincare is an esthetic salon supervised by doctors. The products used on the skin are applied with a brush. There's also a focus on the application method, which contributes to the relaxation effect.
After gently wiping off the mask, it's time for vitamin supplementation. Lactic acid is applied first, followed by vitamin gel, and then medical gauze is placed to prevent dripping. Lactic acid creates a gap between the skin and sebum, helping vitamins penetrate. The gel contains Vitamins A, C, E, B₅, and beta-carotene!
Furthermore, a wonderfully cool and pleasant pack covers your face. It adheres perfectly to the skin and solidifies, filling even fine wrinkles!
Once the entire face is covered, the current is turned ON. This method, called iontophoresis (*), dramatically increases the penetration of vitamins. Since the pack is already hardened, it's fine even when rolled. I dozed off for a while, looking forward to seeing myself after the treatment.

How is it! My entire face is whiter and more refined. Furthermore, the pores around my nose and cheeks, which were damaged by masks, are less noticeable. They say it's still not completely tightened, so continued visits will definitely lead to even more beautiful skin! The treatment concludes with the application of two types of cream: moisturizer and sunscreen.

Detailed explanation of iontophoresis:
Iontophoresis utilizes the power of ions to deeply penetrate vitamins into the skin. The skin has a barrier zone that prevents foreign substances and impurities from penetrating the dermis. However, this barrier zone also hinders the penetration of beneficial ingredients. Iontophoresis delivers active ingredients to the deeper layers of the skin by passing a weak electric current beyond this barrier zone.
A gel containing vitamin A and vitamin C is applied to the face, followed by gauze and a mineral pack. A current is then applied to the pack, performing iontophoresis over the entire face. It is also possible to apply the pack to eyelids and lips, where ultrasound cannot be used. By using a cooling pack, the skin can be soothed using electrical energy while simultaneously allowing vitamins to penetrate the entire face.
Iontophoresis is said to have 40 times the penetration power compared to applying products to the skin by hand or with cotton.
