The photo shows Nikawahama Beach in Kamisu City around May last year.
Unless you're a local, you probably wouldn't know how to read "Nikkawahama." The catchy slogan for Kamisu City's PR is "Still uncrowded this year."
Since it was a weekday, just as the slogan suggested, there were few people, and I was able to enjoy the sea at my leisure.
Watching the white waves and being swept by the pleasant sea breeze, my mind and body relaxed, and I felt completely refreshed.

Does the sea of Kamisu possess such power?
Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, all beaches in Ibaraki are closed for swimming this summer.
I look forward to next summer.
By the way, this year at Nikawahama Beach, the parking lot and the nearby rest facility Sun Sun Park are available.
