Zico was welcomed with applause and "Zico calls" by staff members of the Aso Branch Office and 55 fourth-grade students from Aso Elementary School, and Mayor Suzuki presented him with a bouquet.

During his discussion with Mayor Suzuki, Zico TD said, "I want to do my best in the match on the 18th and present the citizens of Namegata with a good victory. I will do my best so that those who come from Namegata do not go home disappointed." He then received Namegata ice cream as a souvenir from Mayor Suzuki, and Zico TD finished one cup, saying, "It's delicious."

Upon his departure, staff members and students from Aso Elementary School again gave him applause and "Zico calls," and Zico TD responded by signing autographs for each person before leaving Namegata City Hall.
