2018 Miyazaki Camp Day 10

It was the 10th day of the Miyazaki camp. After a four-day break, we resumed our two-a-day training today. The sky was clear from the morning, but strong winds made it feel extremely cold. Upon arriving at the stadium, the team took their traditional camp group photo before starting practice at 9:30 AM. Manager Oiwa, the players, and coaches posed in this season's uniforms and training gear.

Kanazaki looked chilly in his uniform, while Shoji and Doi smiled as they took their positions. Three types of photos were taken: one with just the players, one including the coaches, and another with the volunteer staff who assist with the camp operations.

After the photoshoot, the morning practice began. The players warmed up, then completed a drill where they ran short sprints while exchanging passes, gradually increasing the intensity of their play.

Next was a 5-on-5 mini-game. It was an intense training session where players aimed for goals with quick transitions between offense and defense. Kanamori and Yamaguchi demonstrated strong attacking intent, breaking through with sudden bursts of acceleration. Machida and Inukai repeatedly dispossessed the ball with accurate judgment and powerful tackles. Furthermore, the players practiced shooting from crosses, with Anzai and Ito providing sharp final passes.

Practice concluded after approximately 90 minutes. Notably, players who started in yesterday's match against Tegevajaro Miyazaki had a separate recovery training session. After completing the main menu, some players were seen enjoying a juggling game. Uchida also observed the cross and shoot practice from the sidelines, closely watching his teammates' play.

The afternoon practice began at 3:30 PM. After a meeting with Manager Oiwa, the players warmed up with portball. Endo and Yamaguchi chased the ball with smiles, while Inukai cleverly headed the ball to the coach acting as the target.

With the Kanazawa match scheduled for tomorrow, the afternoon practice followed the usual pre-match day routine. Following the warm-up, the players moved on to long kicks and headers in pairs, and then set-piece practice. They trained meticulously, and the intensity of the offensive and defensive battles in front of the goal increased. Finally, they played a recreational game. Kwoun Sun-Tae, playing as a forward, scored a brilliant diving header, and Léo Silva bent a controlled shot into the bottom right corner of the goal. After the game, the two exchanged fist bumps in celebration.

Today was the coldest day since the camp began. Training continued until around 5 PM, allowing the team to prepare thoroughly for tomorrow's practice match.
