On December 24th, three Antlers players participated in a "Youth Soccer Clinic" held in Sanyo-Onoda City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This soccer clinic has a long history, with Zico himself having participated in the past, due to a related company of an Antlers sponsor being located in the same city. This time, Machida, Abe, and Kanazaki participated and interacted with 130 5th and 6th graders.
First, the players demonstrated their skills, including juggling and ball control.
After that, basic training was conducted, and the soccer clinic concluded with a match.
After the match, there was an autograph session and a lottery. Kanazaki, by his own request, decided to present his spikes in a rock-paper-scissors tournament instead of a lottery.
