In the afternoon, an official press conference was held at Kashima Stadium, attended by Manager Ishii and Ueda.
Manager Masatada Ishii:
"It is an honor to represent the J.League and participate in the ACL. Antlers have won many domestic titles, but have never won the ACL title, so we definitely want to win it."
Ueda:
"This club does not have an ACL title. Last year, we experienced the Club World Cup, and everyone wants to stand on that stage again. To do that, we have to win the ACL. We have to take it one match at a time and win the championship. I think it will be a total war, but I hope we can overcome it as a team."
