For 2024, the first year of resumption, visits were made to elementary schools (a total of 13 schools) in the five hometown cities (Kashima City, Itako City, Kamisu City, Namegata City, and Hokota City) over four days: May 28 (Tuesday), May 29 (Wednesday), June 18 (Tuesday), and June 19 (Wednesday).
The elementary school visits by top team players resumed after a five-year hiatus, with a total of 13 schools visited over four days: May 28 (Tuesday), May 29 (Wednesday), June 18 (Tuesday), and June 19 (Wednesday).
This activity, which started in 2007, involved top team players visiting elementary schools in the hometown and interacting with children through sports and other activities. It had been suspended since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but has now resumed with the cooperation of the five hometown cities (Kashima City, Itako City, Kamisu City, Namegata City, and Hokota City).
