Zico has been a club advisor since the 2022 season, visiting Japan twice per season to be involved in the club's overall operations.
This time, he will stay until early December, attending first-team matches and participating in club-sponsored events. On Saturday, November 11, he will hold a special event for SÓCIO members and fan club members called "FREAKS Public Interview - LEGENDS TALK -" with Akira Narahashi during the 2023 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 32 against Kashiwa Reysol. On Sunday, December 10, he is scheduled to participate in "SÓCIO FESTA 2023" at Kashima Stadium.
