Transportation information and exit routes for the Urawa match (10/28)

We would like to inform you about transportation information and exit routes for the 2023 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 31 against Urawa Reds, which will be held on Saturday, October 28th.

A large number of spectators are expected for this match. Congestion is also anticipated for all transportation services, so those planning to attend are requested to check the transportation information and arrive early with plenty of time, ideally by two hours before kickoff (12:00 PM).

Furthermore, significant congestion is expected after the match ends. Traffic control will be implemented at Gate 5 and near the intersection in front of the stadium, so please follow the instructions of the staff.

■Express Bus
Tokyo Station to Kashima Area
You can board without a reservation, but heavy congestion is expected, so we recommend using the service early. In particular, congestion is expected around 4-5 hours before kickoff (around 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM).

Please note that all express buses bound for Kashima Jingu Station departing from Tokyo Station between six hours before kickoff (8:00 AM) and two hours before kickoff (12:00 PM) will be extended to Kashima Soccer Stadium.

Additionally, reservation-only direct buses are available from each station, so please consider using them as well.

Car

Roads from Itako IC and to the stadium are expected to be congested approximately 3 hours before the match. Also, after the match, it may take over an hour to exit parking lots around the stadium. To alleviate traffic congestion, we request your cooperation in using public transport or carpooling to arrive at the stadium. Please do not park illegally in nearby commercial facilities or on the street.

Train

On match day, the Kashima Rinkai Railway will make temporary stops at Kashima Soccer Stadium Station. Please note that IC cards for transportation cannot be used for destinations in the Mito area.

About Exit Routes from Gate 5

Due to the anticipated large number of attendees for this match, Gate 5 and the intersection in front of the stadium are expected to be extremely congested, especially after the match ends. Traffic control will be implemented, so please follow the instructions of the staff.

Please cooperate by dispersing your exit through Gates 3, 4, and 6.
