・Quarterfinals: Match 1: Wednesday, September 6, Match 2: Sunday, September 10
・Semifinals: Match 1: Wednesday, October 11, Match 2: Sunday, October 15
・Final: Saturday, November 4 Venue: Japan National Stadium

Prime Stage Tournament Outline

■Tournament Format
Eight teams that advanced from the group stage will play a home-and-away knockout tournament (the final will be a single match).

■Match Format and Determination of Winner
・Quarterfinals, Semifinals (Home & Away)
Matches will be 90 minutes (45 minutes each half). If no winner is determined, the match will be a draw. The winner of each round will be the team with more wins over the two matches. If the number of wins is the same, the winner will be determined by the following order:
(1) Goal difference over the two matches
(2) If still tied, a 30-minute extra time (15 minutes each half) at the end of the second match
(3) Penalty shootout
(Each team takes 5 kicks. If still tied, sudden death with 1 kick per team until a winner is determined.)
*The away goals rule has been abolished from the 2023 season.

・Final (Single Match)
The match will be 90 minutes (45 minutes each half). If no winner is determined, there will be 30 minutes of extra time (15 minutes each half). If still tied, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.
(Each team takes 5 kicks. If still tied, sudden death with 1 kick per team until a winner is determined.)
