Formed in 2001, major debut in 2005.

In 2022, they released an original soundtrack album in March, featuring 29 tracks and the theme song "Uruubito" written for the film "The Last 10 Years." In July, they digitally released the new song "Ningen Gokko," written as the theme song for the TBS Friday drama "Ishiko and Haneo - Are you suing for that? -" On November 11, they released the soundtrack for director Makoto Shinkai's latest film "Suzume," for which they handled the theme song and film score (winning the Best Music Award at the 46th Japan Academy Film Prize for this work).
From April 2023, they will embark on their first overseas tour in approximately five years, "RADWIMPS North American Tour 2023," followed by "RADWIMPS European Tour 2023" in May and "RADWIMPS Asian Tour 2023" in July.
