Announcement of "Pitch Grass Experience Event" for elementary school students at the FC Tokyo Match (5/20)

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a "Pitch Grass Experience Event" for elementary school students at the 2023 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 14 against FC Tokyo on Saturday, May 20th.

This event involves picking up grass clippings on the stadium pitch after the match. This is a chance to experience the post-match pitch where traces of the players' performance remain, so please apply!

Eligible Match, Application Deadline, and Winner Announcement

Saturday, May 20th, 3:00 PM Kick-off (Gates open at 12:00 PM, scheduled)
2023 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 14 vs. FC Tokyo

May 8th (Monday) 11:59 PM

■ Winner Announcement
May 11th (Thursday) 6:00 PM (scheduled)

Only selected applicants will be notified of the lottery results and event details via email. Please note that we will not contact those who were not selected.

Event Time

Approximately 30 minutes, starting 20 minutes after each match ends (scheduled)

Kashima Soccer Stadium Pitch

Participants

Elementary school students in grades 1-6 (1-2 children) and their guardian (1 adult) *Maximum 30 pairs, 60 people
*If there are many applications, a lottery will be held.

Participation Conditions

・Participation is free.
・Those who are not SÓCIO or fan club members can also apply.
*Match tickets are not included, so please purchase them individually through "Kashima Tickets".

*This event is also planned to be held at home games in April. You can apply for both at the same time using the form above.

Notes

・We will implement measures to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections for the event, so we ask for your cooperation.
・You cannot take home the collected grass clippings.
・To protect the pitch, guardians are not allowed to enter the pitch.
・In case of rain or match conditions, some changes may be made to the event content, or the event start time may be delayed.
・Depending on the future spread of new coronavirus infections and the policies of the government and local authorities, the event may be changed or postponed.
