With the signing of this agreement, as a new healthcare service business, we will launch "Antlers Sports Dock," an evolved group exercise program, in March, and "Antlers Sports Trainers," a personal training program for athletes of all ages, in April at Kashima Stadium and other locations. Together with Athletemed, we will work to extend the healthy life expectancy of the region.
Based on the policy of "revitalizing Japan by utilizing the healthcare expertise of professional sports teams," Athletemed customizes specialized treatment for professional athletes for the general public and provides support services from injury recovery to return to exercise through sports clinic operation support. In August 2015, Ebis Trade Co., Ltd., a club partner and the largest shareholder of Athletemed, and Kashima Antlers jointly opened the Antlers Sports Clinic.
Kashima Antlers has outsourced a part of the operation of Kashima Wellness Plaza within Kashima Stadium to Athletemed, and in cooperation with Antlers Sports Clinic, will utilize Athletemed's expertise in improving the performance of top athletes to extend the healthy life expectancy of the region.
As new initiatives, we will launch "Antlers Sports Dock" and "Antlers Sports Trainers."
"Antlers Sports Dock" started operating in March at Kashima Wellness Plaza, where participants perform exercises that are difficult to continue alone in groups tailored to their individual levels. In addition to general members, programs will also be implemented for elderly people aged 65 and over for long-term care prevention, and for children's exercise classes.
"Antlers Sports Trainers" is a program that provides athlete-specific training and care for children and adults. In cooperation with Antlers Sports Clinic, former top team trainers will create menus tailored to needs, and the service will begin in April at Kashima Stadium.
