Announcement: Top team player tests positive for COVID-19

We would like to announce that on Sunday, March 13, one player from our club's top team tested positive for COVID-19 in a PCR test.

The player tested positive in an antigen test for COVID-19, which the club voluntarily conducted for top team players and team officials on March 13, and subsequently tested positive in a PCR test. The player did not accompany the team on the away trip for the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Matchday 4 against Vissel Kobe on Friday, March 11, and currently reports no symptoms such as feeling unwell or fever. Furthermore, as a result of identifying close contacts based on the COVID-19 countermeasures guidelines set by the J.League, no close contacts were identified, and no other players or team officials have reported any symptoms of feeling unwell.
