We are pleased to announce that we will be conducting a survey to confirm the effectiveness of infection prevention measures at Kashima Stadium during home league matches, in cooperation with the J.League and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), with which we concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement in 2017.
The purpose of this demonstration survey is to utilize the analysis results for infection prevention measures at various sports events, and the results will be provided to national and local governments, related organizations, and other sports organizations.
■Details of the Demonstration Survey
1) Real-time estimation of mask wearing rate and approximately 10 types of actions such as clapping, banzai, and high fives (shooting with a handy camera and real-time analysis)
2) Grasping social distancing, such as the average distance between entrants (measurement and analysis using a laser radar)
3) Grasping unintentional vocalizations and cheering of spectators (measurement and analysis using a microphone array)
4) Evaluation of the crowdedness in the stadium and grasping ventilation status (measurement using a CO2 concentration meter)

※Camera images taken of the stands will be acquired at a resolution that does not allow for individual identification, and individuals will not be identified. Acoustic sensors will be used to measure ambient noise rather than individual voices, and will not perform voice recognition or record conversations of individual voices. Furthermore, they will not be used for any purpose other than this research.
※For spectators, the infection prevention measures previously set by the J.League will continue to be applied.
