We are pleased to announce that a "CONNECT Special Match ~Let's start doing what we can for the future~" will be held on Saturday, September 18th, during the 2021 Meiji Yasuda Life J1 League Matchday 29 against Gamba Osaka.
In cooperation with Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd., our club's official partner, and its group company CONNECT Co., Ltd., various events such as charity fundraising and commemorative campaigns are planned for the day.
CONNECT is an app-based securities service that provides new financial services, established with the concept of "Creating the future, encountering one share." It aims to help customers learn about economics through investment, build assets, and open up their future. Having celebrated its first anniversary, it will continue to evolve with a commitment to providing "easy-to-use services" for customers. On the day of the event, in collaboration with the NPO Japan Heart, we will also invite children battling pediatric cancer and their families to the stadium.

For this special match, we will conduct charity fundraising using the "KASSAI" tipping service, under the theme of "Support Kashima Antlers and send courage to children fighting cancer." The funds raised, after deducting necessary expenses, will be donated to the "SmileSmilePROJECT" of Japan Heart, an NPO that supports children with pediatric cancer and their families.
In Japan, approximately 2,500 children are diagnosed with pediatric cancer each year. While 70-80% of cases are curable, children and their families still have to go through difficult times due to treatments with strong side effects. The Daiwa Securities Group supports the philosophy and efforts of the "SmileSmilePROJECT," which aims to provide these children with precious time with their families, giving them the motivation to undergo treatment and the opportunity to overcome the fear of recurrence.
Participants in this charity event will receive original goods and memorable experiences that can only be obtained here, depending on the donation amount.
