Announcement of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torchbearers
On Tuesday, March 2, the Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee officially selected the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torchbearers chosen by the Ibaraki Prefecture Executive Committee and announced the list of torchbearers who will run through the prefecture.
From Kashima Antlers, Technical Director Zico and Club Relations Officer Koji Nakata will participate, and from the club's former players, Yasuto Honda, Akira Narahashi, and Takayuki Suzuki will join, making a total of five individuals. They are scheduled to run as a group called "Zico & Legends" through Kashima City on Sunday, July 4.
