We regret to announce that on Thursday, January 14, Leo Silva, who had returned to Brazil, tested positive for COVID-19 in a PCR test conducted in Brazil.
Leo Silva returned to Brazil on Tuesday, December 22, last year for the off-season. On Saturday, January 9, he developed a fever and sore throat. He underwent an antigen test and a PCR test on Monday, January 11, and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.

1/14 (Thu) PCR test result → Positive (Body temperature: 36.7℃)
・Anosmia is present, but no symptoms such as loss of appetite.
Currently, Leo Silva is recuperating at home in Brazil and working to recover his health. His future schedule for returning to Japan, including his health status, will be determined as appropriate, based on a comprehensive assessment.
The club will further strengthen the COVID-19 prevention measures implemented so far and ensure that all players, staff, and related personnel are re-informed and thoroughly adhere to infection prevention measures.
