Regarding the postponement of matches due to the novel coronavirus
The J1 League Matchday 2 against Vissel Kobe on Friday, February 28th, the J1 League Matchday 3 against Shimizu S-Pulse on Sunday, March 8th, and the Levain Cup Matchday 2 against Kawasaki Frontale on Wednesday, March 11th have been postponed as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. Kashima Antlers is pleased to announce that, in collaboration with our official club partner Showa Sangyo Co., Ltd., we will be using environmentally friendly biomass garbage bags at home games during the 2020 season at Kashima Soccer Stadium.
The biomass garbage bags developed by Showa Sangyo Co., Ltd. use biomass made from wheat and corn as part of their raw materials, reducing the amount of petroleum resources used and suppressing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Kashima Antlers will use these bags for combustible waste inside the stadium this season, promoting an eco-friendly stadium that considers the global environment.
