The event is the club's first initiative, held with the aim of providing new viewing opportunities for children in the hometown, utilizing NTT Docomo's technology. On the day of the event, a screen will be set up in the special needs school gymnasium, broadcasting high-definition video from Kashima Soccer Stadium. A teacher from the special needs school who is at the stadium will guide viewers through pre-match concourse shops and warm-up scenes on the field. Furthermore, as an interactive program with the students, there will be a Q&A session with the club mascot "Shikao" and a remote high-five experience. During the match, the program will allow students to enjoy a public viewing.
Kashima Antlers and NTT Docomo have been promoting collaboration in "Hometown/Friendly Town Revitalization Projects," "Smart Stadium," "Video Technology," and "Digital Marketing" since the conclusion of their club official sponsorship agreement in the 2019 season. Through this initiative, we aim to provide the excitement and thrill of sports viewing to students of special needs schools who may find it difficult to visit the stadium, and we will continue to focus on materializing and realizing further collaborations.
