We are pleased to announce that Kotaro Arima from Kashima Antlers Youth and Top Team will participate in the Citi Hong Kong Soccer Sevens, held in Hong Kong from May 17th to 19th.

■Tournament Outline:
・No age restriction for players. However, all players must be 16 years old or older as of January 1, 2019.
・FIFA rules apply, but there is no offside.
・7 players per team (maximum 10 registered players)
・Up to 3 substitutions allowed. A substituted player cannot re-enter the game.
・Pitch size: 90m x 55m (full-size goals)
・The tournament consists of a group stage with 16 teams (4 groups of 4 teams), playing a round-robin format within each group. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw.
・After the group stage, the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage, and the bottom two teams advance to the lower bracket tournament.
・Teams eliminated in the quarter-finals of the knockout stage proceed to the ranking tournament.
・Group stage and lower bracket tournament: Two 7-minute halves, 1-minute halftime.
・Ranking tournament and knockout stage: Two 10-minute halves, 2-minute halftime.
・All tournament finals: Two 10-minute halves, 3-minute halftime.
