Concerning the comprehensive partnership agreement between the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and Kashima Antlers

The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), led by President Ryoji Chubachi, and Kashima Antlers FC Co., Ltd., led by Representative Director and President Hiroshi Shono, are pleased to announce that they held a signing ceremony today for a comprehensive partnership agreement at Ibaraki Prefectural Kashima Soccer Stadium (hereinafter "Kashima Stadium"). The details of the agreement are as follows:

<Comprehensive Partnership Agreement>
1. Purpose
・To integrate the knowledge of both parties and utilize Kashima Stadium as a venue for demonstrating the latest technologies.
・To promote the utilization of Kashima Stadium and drive the sustainable growth of the regional economy centered around the stadium.
・To jointly carry out social contribution activities through content, utilizing the information and human resources of both parties.

2. Main Areas of Partnership and Cooperation
・To introduce cutting-edge technologies, including those from AIST-launched ventures, to improve the functionality of Kashima Stadium, enhance customer convenience, and streamline facility maintenance.
・To utilize Kashima Stadium as a "lab" for demonstrating cutting-edge technologies, selecting medium-to-long-term research themes to promote research and development.
・To establish a new utilization model for large-scale public facilities that incorporates Safety, Sustainability, and Satisfaction (3S).

3. Background
・As both AIST and Kashima Antlers are based in Ibaraki Prefecture, they have agreed to contribute to the development of the regional economy, Japan's science and technology, and the sports industry through their collaboration.
