Urawa Match (11/29) Traffic Information

On Saturday, November 29, many visitors are expected for the Meiji Yasuda Life J-League Championship Final Round 1 match against Urawa Reds, which kicks off at 7:25 PM. All modes of transportation are expected to be crowded, so if you plan to attend, please confirm your travel arrangements beforehand. You can board without a reservation, but it is expected to be very crowded, so we recommend arriving early. Please note that all buses departing from Tokyo Station for Kashima Jingu Station between 6 and 2 hours before the match will be extended to Kashima Soccer Stadium.

After the match, the number of buses is limited to approximately 20, and there is a risk that they may fill up as they are served on a first-come, first-served basis.
We recommend securing your transportation for your return journey in advance.

※Child: 920 yen
※Ages 6 and over, up to 12 years old.
However, if a child under 6 occupies a seat, the child fare will be charged.

•The number of buses is limited. If they are full, please use other means of transportation.
•Buses may operate without restrooms. We cannot specify a bus with a restroom in advance as vehicles are dispatched in the order of operation on the day. The bus fare will also be the same. Thank you for your understanding.
•After the match, there is a possibility of significant delays in arrival at Tokyo Station due to traffic congestion around the soccer stadium. Thank you for your understanding.

Buses operate at approximately 30-minute intervals from 12:50 PM until just before kick-off. The last bus to the stadium departs at 7:10 PM.

【Car】
Traffic on the roads to Itako IC and the stadium is expected to be congested about 3 hours before the match. Also, after the match, it may take more than an hour to exit the parking lots around the stadium. To alleviate congestion, please cooperate by using public transportation or carpooling to the stadium.
※Please use alternative routes for your return journey. Click here for details on alternative routes, etc.
※For those coming from the Mito area, you can avoid congestion around the stadium after the match by using the free parking lot (approx. 70 cars) on the west side of Kashima Ono Station, which is three stations away from Kashima Soccer Stadium Station, and then taking the Rinkai Railway. Please note that Kashima Ono Station is an unstaffed station, so please be sure to take a numbered ticket when boarding. Also, please purchase your ticket at the stadium station when you return.
