Open Stadium 2015
■Purpose of the event:
The first event was held in September of the same year to commemorate the recovery of Kashima Stadium, which was damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, and was the only home facility for major professional sports that was unable to host official matches for three months. The purpose was to widely open the "returned stadium" to local residents and fans and share "the happiness of having a stadium." Since then, the event has been held for the fifth time this year without changing its purpose.
