Concept
Kashima Antlers has traditionally published a YEAR BOOK every year to coincide with the new season, and for the Meiji Yasuda J1 Centennial Plan League, it was produced as a SEASON BOOK. Starting from the 2026/27 season, the name has been standardized to SEASON BOOK, and this single volume is packed with "the seriousness and true faces of the players aiming for back-to-back J1 championships and Asian domination."
In the player introduction pages "PLAYERS FILE," all players participating in the 2026/27 season are featured across a two-page spread. The articles convey each player's thoughts and determination for this season, while the photos dynamically showcase each player's unique character through specially shot poses.
In "Q&A on Anything," each player answers a variety of questions. Additionally, "My XX Love" introduces each player's "oshi-katsu" (fan activities), offering a glimpse into their favorite things and passions. Furthermore, there's a special interview with manager Go Oiwa, and the AFC Champions League Elite feature includes a dialogue between Gaku Shibasaki and Naomichi Ueda. A special talk between Yuta Higuchi and Kyosuke Tagawa, who vow to perform well in the 2026/27 season, is also included.
In addition, this single volume is packed with everything Antlers, including a detailed introduction to the top-ranked stadium gourmet selected in the Stargle New Hero General Election held in the Meiji Yasuda J1 Centennial Plan League, the Shika-Oh family, and an academy feature.
