We are pleased to announce the completion of the training ground for junior players (elementary school age), made possible by the support received for the Furusato Nozei crowdfunding project "Antlers' Future for Everyone 2025," which was implemented in 2025.
This ground commenced operations with a match played by junior academy players on Saturday, March 28th, as a thank-you event for crowdfunding donors.
The purpose of this project was to create an environment where junior players, who were the only ones in the club's development organization without their own dedicated training facility, could train daily in the same area as the top team and other academy categories, thereby growing while regularly experiencing being close to older generations.
Overview of the Junior Training Ground
This ground was designed with an emphasis on creating an environment that promotes the growth of players across categories, not only by improving their skills but also by reducing the physical distance between training facilities.
■ Strengthening inter-category collaboration through proximity of development environments
The new ground is adjacent to the junior youth (middle school age) ground and is also in close proximity to the training bases for the youth and top teams. By having each category operate in close proximity, junior players can regularly experience the standards of higher categories, enabling a smooth step-up environment.
■ Environmental inheritance through reuse of natural turf from the top team's training ground
The turf on the ground is transplanted and reused natural turf from the top team's training ground, which was renovated in a 2024 project. We have created a ground where junior players can train with an awareness of the club's traditions, inheriting the environment where professional players have honed their skills.
Crowdfunding Results
The development of this facility was realized through a crowdfunding campaign utilizing Itako City's Furusato Nozei system, with immense support from many people.
